Have You Filled a Bucket Today?

Watching 'Have You Filled a Bucket?" Movie in the Classroom.

We have learned about 'Bucket Filling'. Bucket filling always comes from the heart. When the bucket is full of acts of kindness, a person feels great. But when it's empty, a person feels sad. If you choose to live your life as a bucket-filler, then you will have a happy life. The choice is yours to make.
"Our bucket is invisible. It's really make-believe.
But there's no doubt in what a kind act can do.
It makes someone feel good, then comes right back to you."

The Rainbow Fish Photostory

We created a digital story 'The Rainbow Fish' using Microsoft Photostory to be presented to the KG classes as part of the '100 Acts of Kindness' Campaign. We drew pictures depicting various scenes of the story. The pictures were imported into Photostory. After that we added narration and music to go along with our story. It was rewarding for us to see all of our hard work presented as as Photostory. We're proud and  motivated to start another one!

100 Days of School: When I'm 100 Years Old

Countdown (or up!) to 100 Days of School! What will look like when you're 100 years old? And what about your friends?
We used an App on the iPad to find out how we will age and animated our faces in 3D! Then we wrote about how we think our life will be then.
